New in HEY: Reply to Everyone

Have you ever wanted to send the same reply to a bunch of emails all at once? Now you can, and HEY makes it super easy. Just select them all and reply with a single message.

Here's how it looks:

You’ll see a single email composer and a list of all the threads that the reply will go out to. Bang out your reply and hit Send to everyone.

Selecting emails to reply to

Before you can compose your reply you need to select a bunch of emails to reply to. There are a couple of ways to select them:

1. Open Reply Later, and hit Need to send the same reply to everyone? link at the top.

2. You can select specific emails then choose Reply Together from the Actions menu. On the Reply Together screen you'll see the same link as in Focus & Reply.

Workflows

Another great place to use Reply to Everyone is in Workflows. Imagine you've got 40 applicants in your Hiring workflow who won't be moving forward to the Interview stage. Now you can write them a kind rejection message all at once.

Just open your Workflow and hit the new ••• menu on a stage, then select Reply to Everyone.

That will take you to the same Reply to Everyone screen with all the threads from that Workflow stage.

What's more, you can add a little automation and automatically move threads to another stage—or out of the Workflow altogether—after the replies are sent.

Bonus: Clear out this stage

Have you ever wanted to just clear everything from a stage and start over? Now you can. From the new stage options menu, select Clear out this stage and HEY will move all of the threads out of the Workflow. It's ideal a workflows like Bills to Pay where you’d have two columns: Unpaid and Paid. Eventually, you'll want to clear out that Paid column.
