HEY spam filtering just got a big upgrade, we are now filtering up to 30% more spam from your screener.

We improved checks to external services which provide lists of known spammers and behind the scenes have implemented machine learning techniques, that store characteristics about messages you mark as spam.

Subsequent messages are compared against these characteristics and filtered appropriately. This is all done in a way that preserves and respects your privacy. We only store and match against tokens (called hashes) that represent the content, not the email itself.

As a result, we're seeing up to a 30% reduction in spam reaching the screener, and up to 40% less for Spam Corps members.
