New in Basecamp: Hilltop View

Basecamp has several ways to show you, at a glance, how things are going across your account, like Mission Control to know where your projects stand and the Lineup for a bird's eye view of timelines. These high-level views provide instant clarity into your work.

Hill Charts are another way to visualize progress. They let you track your to-do lists from figuring things out to completion. Until now, though, there wasn't a way to see all your Hill Charts in one place. Now you can with Hilltop View!

To take a look, click Activity in the navigation bar, then Choose a Report. Select Hilltop View.

The report shows Hill Charts from all of your projects. The freshest updates float to the top, while older updates sink further down. Hill Charts that haven't been updated in the last three months are excluded, so you can focus on what's most relevant.

From the Hilltop View, tap a Hill Chart to see its history and read about the progress.

Hill Charts aren't visible to clients, so they won't see the new Hilltop View. Everyone else on the account will have access to the new report.

Hilltop View is available now on the web and desktop apps. It's coming soon to mobile.
