New in Basecamp: See everything that’s unassigned

When you manage projects, you don’t want anything to fall through the cracks. Every detail should be captured, every task assigned. If no one is responsible, the work won’t happen.

Now in Basecamp, you can see everything that’s unassigned across your projects on a single page. Under Activity, you’ll see the new report: Unassigned work.

The report is organized by project, so you can focus on one at a time. Click a project to see the to-dos and cards that aren’t assigned yet.

To assign a to-do or card, hover over it and click Assign/Schedule. You can add people or adjust the date, then go to the next one, without leaving the page. Quick and easy!

Bonus: We fell in love with how quick and easy inline editing was on the new report, so we also brought it to My Assignments. Now you can reassign a task or update the due date without having to go to a project first. See it in action in this video. Enjoy!
